We are currently recruiting for: Care Assistants Social Care Workers Community Inclusion Coaches In these rewarding roles, youll be supporting individuals in our local New Directions hubs to live full and active lives within their communities. No two days are the same from creative activities and outings to developing independent living skills and advocating for individuals, youll be helping each person reach their full potential. What we're looking for: Motivated, compassionate, and energetic team players. A strong commitment to empowering individuals through a person-centred approach. Flexibility and a willingness to work as part of a dynamic and supportive team. Knowledge of the New Directions framework. Experience supporting people with Autism One year experience working in teh area of Intellectual Dissability is desirible A full driving licence is a distinct advantage Openness to providing supports across a variety of activities. Cheeverstown is a voluntary organisation, regulated by the Health Information & Quality Authority (HIQA). We provide a wide range of person centred services including residential, respite and day services to almost 400 children and adults with an intellectual disability in the south Dublin area. Person specification Care assistant : A FETAC/QQI Level 5 Major Award in Social Care/ Healthcare or relevant qualification- all 8 modules completed. Social Care worker : Level 7 Social Care degree or equivilant qualifictaion. CORU registration or in the process of registration. Community Inclusion Coach Relevant professional qualification- Social care, Supported employment, Training / Education. Interviews will be held Saturday 21st of June with a proposed start of mid August. Monday to Friday work pattern. Please note:All job offers are subject to two successful references, ongoing Garda Vetting and a satisfactory pre-employment medical. Salary will be paid as per the HSE consolidated pay scales of Care assistant (ID), Social care worker or Workshop Instructor, depending on qualifications and experience.
