Associate Director – Finance

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Director to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to play a key leadership role in a fast‑paced and transformative environment.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Partners and senior management across our Irish & international offices, contributing to strategic decision‑making, delivering high‑quality insights, and leading cross‑functional initiatives that enhance how we operate.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Lead key strategic initiatives aligned with departmental and firm‑wide priorities.
- Act as a senior advisor to Partners by providing impactful insights and recommendations.
- Drive continuous improvement and transformation across processes and reporting frameworks.
Operational & Functional Leadership
- Oversee the delivery of high‑quality outputs across multiple teams.
- Manage and review internal reporting outputs such as monthly P&Ls and Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Ensure effective planning, prioritisation, and execution across competing deadlines.
- Review workpapers and coordinate statutory audits locally.
- Play a key role in US integration, cross‑border coordination, and delivery of monthly reporting packs.
People Leadership & Collaboration
- Coach and mentor team members, fostering a high‑performance culture.
- Lead cross‑service line collaboration to support wider business objectives.
Governance, Controls & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Strengthen internal controls
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as a key liaison between global teams and external stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships across the firm.
Key Skills & Experience
- Qualified accountant or equivalent professional qualification, with 4+ years' post‑qualification experience.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience leading high‑performing teams.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, reporting tools, and relevant systems such as Power Bi
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail.
