A leading multinational pharmaceutical manufacturer is seeking a
Reliability Specialist
to join its Engineering Centre of Excellence. This is a high-impact role focused on driving asset performance, optimising maintenance strategies, and supporting production reliability across a highly regulated site.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development and implementation of asset maintenance strategies to ensure reliable plant and equipment performance.
* Analyse equipment performance and maintenance data to identify recurring issues and deliver long-term engineering solutions.
* Oversee predictive and condition-based maintenance programmes (e.g., vibration, thermography) and interpret results to guide decisions.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives, integrating digital tools and smart maintenance practices.
* Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve equipment issues and ensure efficient project delivery.
* Provide technical expertise to optimise maintenance planning, cost management, and resource utilisation.
* Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards in all maintenance activities.
Qualifications & Experience
* Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
* Minimum 5 years' relevant professional experience, ideally with 3+ years in a reliability or maintenance engineering role.
* Strong experience with CMMS systems and data analysis tools.
* Proven ability to diagnose equipment issues, implement solutions, and drive continuous improvement.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
* Familiarity with cGMP or regulated manufacturing environments is an advantage.
