Operative will drive a Sustaining works Van.This role will be mostly based in the Dublin, Leinster region pending availability of work.Key Responsibilities of the Role:Experience in installation of various Sprinkler systemsPlanning and executing small to medium sized jobs which involves interfacing with clients.Surveying works and Co-ordinating with design teamFlexible to travel around the country.Knowledge in all types of sprinkler systems.Able to work on own initiativeFull drivers' licence. (optional).Liaise and build relationships with clients.Competent in draining / refilling sprinkler systems.Competent in operating fire pumps / related fire alarms.Planning and working from sprinkler drawings.Knowledge in LPC and FM sprinkler rules.Essential Criteria for the Role:Safe Pass / manual handlingExperienced sprinkler pipefittersFlexible to travelAbility to work on own initiative.Excellent communication skillsAbility to work well under pressure and within a strict deadline.National Craft CertificateDesirable Criteria:Previous experience in role or a willingnessAbility to manage a job to completion / attend white board meetings.Flexible for outside of normal working hours.A construction background.Mercury is an equal opportunities employer.
