We offer a full-time, permanent contract within a dynamic and thriving Care Centre.ResponsibilitiesGeneralDemonstrate Governance & Leadership in the management of Windmill House Care CentreEnsure the provision of a high standard of care and service to the resident and their familiesMaintain compliance with HIQA Regulations.Promote and oversee the delivery of holistic, person-centred careLead the multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated and seamless careCommunicate with relevant teams regarding ongoing Windmill House Care Centre operations.Communicate with the residents, families and MDT members for all residents, relatives, and visitors on an on-going basis.ManagementUndertake the role and responsibilities of the Person-in-Charge in line with the Health Act 2007, related regulations and the Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA) standards.Ensure excellence in Governance, Management & LeadershipResponsibility for the management of the team supported by the ADON.Facilitate Training & Education for all staffImplement and amend policies and procedures in line with current guidelinesCommunication with external agenciesResponsibility for Risk Management, Health & Safety, IPC, Management of Complaints & Incidents in line with company Policy.Create and promote open communication, healthy working relationships, and stimulate initiatives among the teamMotivate team members, by agreeing goals and objectives, through performance reviewThe foregoing should not be considered exhaustiveRequirementsQualified Registered Nurse, with at least 3 years' experience in the last 6 years in Care of the Older PersonPost registration Management Qualification (level 8) in healthcare or related fieldNo less than 3 years' experience in a management capacity in the Health & Social Care AreaEngaged in continuous professional developmentDemonstrate sound knowledge and clinical nursing practice in Care of Older PersonsIn-depth knowledge of HIQA and compliance with the Health Act and working withinKnowledge of HR law, H&S and relevant legislation governing nursing homesWillingness to be flexible and adapt to the needs of the CompanyGood appreciation of finance issuesWhat do we offer?High Basic SalaryExcellent Bonus SchemeCompany Laptop and PhonePension Contribution Scheme5 weeks Annual LeaveExpense AccountFinancial Support for Further EducationOn-site parkingJoin the Windmill Healthcare team and be part of our story...
