We are looking for a senior electrical engineer with extensive experience in heavy industrial engineering design. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the complete suite of electrical engineering design services, including MV and LV power distribution, generators, UPS systems, lighting & emergency lighting, vertical transportation, small power, voice / data, cable containment, fire alarm security lightning protection earthing & bonding hazardous areas and specialist control systems.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading various projects from an electrical perspective and working as part of a multidisciplinary team. They will analyze complex engineering problems and offer effective solutions. Additionally they will provide support to fee proposals as required assemble manage bid approval construction issue electrical packages in an efficient lean manner monitor supervise junior level engineers if required check other engineers work for accuracy quality undertake peer reviews require extensive independent contact clients vendors representatives project field personnel attend participate client PM Group meetings direct or participate site visits monitor review sign-off installations.
Requirements
* A Third Level Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline
* 10+ years of formal experience in heavy industrial engineering design
* Chartered or working towards same qualification
