About SaT (Strategy and Transactions)
By helping organisations evaluate and navigate transactions, maximise opportunities and minimise risks, you will help clients manage and execute high-profile transactions. You will bring your analytical skills and real-world experience to diverse situations and unique problems. You will assess and navigate risks and balance them against potential rewards, aligning transactions with clients’ objectives.
Your key responsibilities
* Originate, lead and manage M&A transactions end-to-end (including financial analysis, valuation, due diligence, and negotiations) under the supervision of Directors or Partners within SaT M&A Advisory in Ireland and internationally.
* Work effectively as a team member by sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication and updating senior members on progress.
* Understand clients’ requirements, co-develop approaches with the client, and provide value through insights, factual conclusions and advice.
* Gather, verify and analyse information to formulate views.
* Plan, prepare and review deliverables including information memoranda, reports and presentations.
* Identify risks and escalate as appropriate to more senior staff.
* Support and drive deal origination and sector insight initiatives by identifying and analysing business development opportunities.
* Ensure work is properly executed, documented and concluded in compliance with Quality & Risk Management guidelines.
* Establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships.
* Mentor and develop junior staff and provide constructive feedback.
* Maintain and upgrade technical knowledge and personal skills.

Role Requirements
* Manage sell side mandates with optimal positioning of assets or business, preparing Information Memoranda and negotiating terms.
* Manage buy side mandates, identify targets and structure and negotiate transactions.
* Support clients with a diverse range of strategic mandates relating to M&A.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, investors and stakeholders.
* Supervise and mentor junior team members; foster professional development.
* Ensure high-quality client deliverables with strong attention to detail.
* Self-awareness to seek feedback and drive development.
* Demonstrate strong numerical and financial skills and understanding of financial statements.
* Prior experience and strong knowledge of the Corporate Finance landscape.
Your duties and responsibilities

Technical skill requirements
* Experience in Corporate Finance with emphasis on M&A Lead Advisory and end-to-end transaction work.
* Strong communication with key stakeholders; high commercial acumen.
* Proficient in detailed financial and commercial analysis and identifying sensitivity.
* Ability to identify issues and propose practical solutions; clear client deliverables.
* Experience presenting findings in reports and client deliverables.
Additional requirements
* Relevant analytical or financial qualifications.
* Strong commercial experience or relevant industry experience.
* Analytical approach with strong commercial acumen.
* Excellent oral and written communication.
* Advanced IT skills in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
* Effective time management and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
* Team player with ability to work independently as required.
