OverviewResearch And Development Engineer (R&D) - VascularA leading medical device organisation is seeking a Vascular R&D Engineer to join a pioneering team working on a Class III implantable device for aortic endovascular repair. This is a rare opportunity to contribute from early-stage design through to commercialization, including clinical studies and global regulatory submissions.You’ll be part of a 14-person project team focused on developing a stent graft system, with this role specifically leading the delivery system component. You’ll manage a team of 4–5 engineers, driving innovation and execution across the full product lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesLead design and development of the delivery system for an aortic stent graft.Oversee component specifications, manufacturing processes, and test method development.Drive verification and validation (V&V) activities and support regulatory submissions (including PMA).Collaborate cross-functionally to bring the product from concept to market.What We’re Looking For5+ years of engineering experience in Class III medical devices.Strong background in vascular technologies—ideally aortic, stents, or stent grafts.Proven leadership experience with the ability to delegate, structure, and drive a team.Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Material Sciences.Experience across the full product development cycle.This is a hands-on, high-impact role in a growing team where your contributions will directly shape a life-saving global product.
