Job Title: Business Development Manager (12-month Fixed-Term Contract)
Carrington-West is seeking a skilled professional to play a key role in securing major rail engineering and infrastructure projects across the Republic of Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
* BUILD STRONG CLIENT RELATIONSHIPS: Foster long-term relationships with Irish Rail, Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII), and other key stakeholders in the transport sector.
* UNDERSTAND PROJECT PIPELINES: Gather market intelligence to stay up-to-date on project developments and identify new opportunities.
* LEAD BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CAMPAIGNS: Develop and execute campaigns that open new doors for Carrington-West with Irish Rail and TII.
* DELIVER BUSINESS GROWTH: Collaborate with colleagues to deliver business growth through strategic campaigning and client development.
Requirements:
* STRONG CONNECTIONS WITH IRISH RAIL: Established relationships with Irish Rail and/or the wider Irish transport sector are essential.
* Rail Sector Knowledge: Proficiency in rail systems, including signalling, telecoms, and infrastructure is highly beneficial.
* CULTURAL UNDERSTANDING: Good cultural understanding of operating within the Republic of Ireland is necessary.
* EXPERIENCE IN BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT: Proven experience in business development, bid management, or work winning within rail infrastructure is required.
* CONFIDENT NETWORKER: Ability to identify decision-makers and influencers is crucial.
