Sales Associate - Horticulture
Horizons is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Garden Centre Retail Assistant. This part-time, fixed-term position offers the opportunity to develop horticultural knowledge and skills in a dynamic environment.
About the Role
We are looking for a committed and dedicated individual to provide expert guidance and advice to customers on plants and garden products. Key responsibilities include:
* Providing advice to customers on plant care and selection
* Assisting with stock management, including ordering and receiving stock
* Maintaining a high standard of display and merchandising throughout the garden centre
* Operating the till and handling cash and card transactions accurately
* Plant health and care, including watering, pruning, pest control, and disease prevention
The ideal candidate will have exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships. A strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills are also essential.
