Role Overview
The PH3 Operative will work in a team of 2 or 3 providing assistance on the Compost Yard.
Main Duties
· Opening and closing tunnel doors, door opens semi mechanical.
· Get pulling winch ready. Net has to be hooked onto the winch
· Pull temperature probes, this jobs involves some climbing on a ladder
· Operate loading equipment and conveyors
· Pull net back, done with 2 people, medium strength is needed
· Cleaning tunnels with a high pressure fire hose
· Cleaning with shovels and forks, light product on a flat floor
· At end of the day all equipment needs to be dry cleaned and washed thoroughly. High pressure fire hoses are used for the washing.
· Manually loading hopper with 25kg bags
· Changing filters and pre-filters in air handling units
· General tidying and cleaning around the site
