Our client is a manufacturer of Capital Equipment that is used in the Pharmaceutical & Biopharma Sectors. They are seeking Field Service Engineer to service mainly Chromatography equipment within the Pharmaceutical Sector. The person will come from either a Field Service background of Chemical equipment or be a strong user of Chromatography equipment who will be provided with the relevant training to service this lab equipment & trouble shoot with the customers. The person will live ideally in the vicinity of Dublin to Athlone to cover that territory. They will report to the Field Service Engineering Team Lead in Ireland & be part of an established Field Service team of 9 people.Role/Responsibilities:Provide service delivery support for all customer on analytical laboratory instrumentationManage and coordinate daily functionsPromote and maintain a high quality of servicePromote the brand and service capabilities of the companyIdentify service delivery improvements in conjunction with team leadsPerform routine/non routine PM/OQ and PQPerform equipment troubleshooting and breakdown repairsSupport other engineers when requiredProvide technical support to customer queriesProvide a conduit for customers and the teach support teamEvaluate incoming fault reports and initiate appropriate measures:Support customers by remote troubleshootingIf necessary, request support from product specialistsEnsure prompt handling of customer complaintsInform Head of Services in case of major deviations and for cases that can’t be handled with current resourcesTo insure optimum execution of dutiesTo ensure consigned goods/ working founds and materials are handled with careTo follow and respect instructions and guidelinesEducation/Experience:Degree in Science/EngineeringA proven track record of cGxPMinimum of 2 years Pharmaceutical Analytical Laboratory experience working with chromatography, dissolution and physical testing equipment.Troubleshooting abilityActs autonomous in the frame of Guidelines and directivesFull, clean Irish drivers licenceFor further information please contact:Karen Shiel on 087 745 2487 or send CV to karen.shiel@lifescience.ie
