Eir Evo Talent has partnered with a leading public sector client in Dublin. We’re looking for an experienced .NET Developer to join their team on a 6-month contract. You’ll be working on the design, development, and maintenance of robust, scalable software solutions using the latest Microsoft technologies. This role will suit a hands‑on developer who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys collaborating across teams to deliver high‑quality applications. This opportunity is based in Dublin with office requirements of 3 days on‑site.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain .NET-based applications using Microsoft .NET Core, C#, VB, and MVC.
* Build and maintain RESTful APIs to support internal and external integrations.
* Work with jQuery and Angular to deliver responsive and dynamic front‑end experiences.
* Design and optimise database solutions to ensure performance and scalability.
* Use Azure DevOps for source control, CI/CD pipelines, and agile project management.
* Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
* Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems as needed.
Required Skills & Experience
* Minimum 4 years’ experience designing and developing .NET-based software solutions.
* Strong proficiency with .NET Core, C#, VB, MVC, jQuery, and Angular.
* Proven experience with database design and development (SQL Server or similar).
* Hands‑on experience developing and maintaining REST APIs.
* Practical experience using Azure DevOps for builds, deployments, and version control.
* Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
