Job Description
The Conservation Program Coordinator will work closely with management and stakeholders to understand the scope, deliverables, and outputs of a conservation project. The coordinator will be responsible for recruiting volunteer citizen scientists, training them, and ensuring they implement project objectives.
The coordinator will liaise with volunteers, monitor progress, and assist in reporting data in an agreed format. This requires continuous coordination and ensuring consistency throughout the project site.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Experience working in natural environments, particularly with native species and predator control
* Proven track record in organizational and multitasking skills
* Awareness of health and safety legislation and regulations
* Discretion and confidentiality
Key Responsibilities
* Direct reporting to management and stakeholders
* Organizing and delivering training and promotional events
* Maintaining accurate records of all training
* Issuing reports as required
