Job Title: Regulatory Policy VP

A strategic leader is needed to oversee and implement regulatory policies within our organization.

* Develop and maintain regulatory policies in line with industry standards and local requirements by analyzing current laws and regulations, identifying areas for improvement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
* Provide expert advice to senior management on regulatory developments and their impact on business strategies by staying up-to-date on the latest regulatory changes, assessing their implications, and recommending courses of action.
* Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations by working closely with compliance teams, conducting regular audits, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
* Prepare and present regulatory reports for internal and external stakeholders by gathering data, analyzing trends, and communicating findings in a clear and concise manner.
* Act as a point of contact for regulatory bodies, address inquiries or audits as required, and foster strong relationships through effective communication and a proactive approach.
* Monitor changes in the regulatory landscape and assess their implications for the organization by staying informed about new regulations, anticipating potential issues, and developing strategies to mitigate risks.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed regulatory considerations into operational workflows, ensuring compliance and minimizing risk through a collaborative approach.
* Provide training and updates to staff on regulatory policies and best practices by designing engaging training programs, delivering presentations, and evaluating the effectiveness of training initiatives.


Requirements:

* Strong background in accounting, finance, or a related field within a Capital Markets / major Bank business, ideally with experience in regulatory compliance and policy development.
* Accounting or Risk Qualified, with proven expertise in regulatory compliance and policy development.
* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and professional environment.
* Excellent communication abilities to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, regulatory bodies, and clients.
* A proactive approach to monitoring and adapting to regulatory changes, with the ability to stay informed, anticipate potential issues, and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
* The ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
