Externally the role works with the wider Moog Supply Chain organisation across the globe.Responsibilities In DetailPlan resources to meet targetsConfirm resource availability and capability to meet the requirements of received Purchase Orders.Allocate team resources to meet targets.Manage the Procurement, Planning, Supplier Development, Customer Service and Logistics teams, inc. Known Consignor shipping area, ensuring a balancedworkload so thatassigned work is completed on time and to the required quality standards.oCo-ordinate with Production, Quality and Engineering staff to achieve plans against Sales OrdersoEnsure employee safety and the following of safety procedures at all timesoReview and assess employee performanceSet and monitor employee goals and objectivesoEnsure adherence to company policies and proceduresoAssist with employee motivation and communications.oWork with HR on recruitment and staffing for Procurement, Planning, Supplier Development, Customer Service and Logistics teams.oCoordinate the training and development of employees with the Learning and Development team to maximise employee flexibility through cross training and to ensure employee growth within Moog.Monitor plan versus actualDevelop, implement, and monitor performance indicators to run the business.oMeet weekly/monthly purchasing, shipping and customer response targets.oWhere targets are not met, ensure the appropriate corrective and preventative actions are taken as necessary to meet the agreed targets for the production areas.oEnsure team focus on quality and prevailing priority work assignments.oFeedback supplier performance data to drive design and supplier corrective action.oAccountable for area KPI's in line with the business needs and constraints:On Time In Full from suppliersOn Time Delivery to customersAction Message and quotation turnaround timeInventory Cycle Count AccuracyTeam AbsenteeismOver Time costsMonitor inventory levels to ensure accuracy and availability of purchased parts and made assemblies from stock.Monitor and control customer owned inventory and inventory for Aftermarket use.Ensure compliance of the site Known Consignor accreditation.Ensure compliance with Dangerous Goods Transportation requirements.Ensure compliance with import & export trade regulations for goods and services.Continually refine and optimise processesOptimisation of the Supply Chain process.oMonitor Supply Chain processes to identify opportunities through applying Lean and Continuous Improvement techniques and tools.
