Key Responsibilities
This is a senior role that involves overseeing the day-to-day operations and production of the factory. You will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives and ensuring overall business success.
You will oversee the operations, engineering/quality, procurement and administration functions. This includes managing the operations department to highest standards to satisfy customer expectation and on-time delivery.
Other responsibilities include ensuring optimum performance of HR, hiring and training processes, building relationships with key customers in diverse markets, setting objectives and improving systems and procedures, and working in close collaboration with the sales/account management functions and the customer to delivery total customer satisfaction.
* Oversee daily business operations, drive strategic initiatives and ensure overall business success.
* Develop and implement business strategies to support growth and business excellence.
* Lead the operations, engineering/quality, procurement and administration functions.
* Manage the operations department to highest standards to satisfy customer expectation and on-time delivery.
* Ensure optimum performance of HR, hiring and training processes.

* Set objectives and improve systems and procedures.
* In association with finance, manage budgets and assist in design of improvements to optimise financial performance and operational effectiveness and efficiency.
* Work in close collaboration with the sales/account management functions and the customer to delivery total customer satisfaction.
* Build, develop and lead a management team and staff capable of carrying out organisational objectives to the highest standards.
* Assume responsibility for health and safety standards throughout the organisation.
* Maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for new business.
* Develop, promote and implement on-going continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role you should have:
A proven experience at a management level within manufacturing and engineering. In-depth knowledge of machining and fabrication or related production processes is desirable. Relevant third level qualification is also desirable.
You should have excellent leadership skills including goal setting, motivating, training and mentorship. Performance focused with strong budgeting and reporting capabilities are essential.
