The Comparative Medicine Unit (CMU) in Trinity College Dublin seeks to appoint a Laboratory Attendant to support the activities of the unit. The person will work as part of the Laboratory Attendant team who together with the Technical Officer team are actively engaged with the day-to- day operations of the unit under the supervision of the Chief Technical Officer. The Comparative Medicine Unit is the central animal research facility in the college. The unit’s mission is to advance knowledge and improve the health and well-being of humans and animals through the provision of world-class facilities, infrastructure, and service in accordance with the animal welfare and regulatory legislation. The CMU is a vibrant and dynamic unit which supports ground-breaking biological and medical research in areas such as Biochemistry, Immunology, Physiology, Genetics and Neuroscience.
Post Status: Permanent
Hours of Post: 39 hours per week
Salary: Appointment will be made on the Merged Laboratory Attendant 1 Fortnightly pay scale (€1,249.29 - €1,436.30 per fortnight) at a point in line with Government Pay Policy. Please note New Entrants to the Public Sector will be appointed to Point 1 on the scale.
