Ref: Essential: Hold a recognised 3rd Level qualification in Nursing or Health / Social care division : - Nursing Up to date NMBI Registration - Health/Social Care (The award must be considered eligible for CORU registration) Recognised Management Qualification FETAC/QQI Level 6 or equivalent. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a management or supervisory role in the area of Health Care. Experience of working within the area of intellectual disability and those who have behaviours of concern. Full clean Irish manual driving licence and access to own vehicle. Have a detailed knowledge of the HIQA/ New Directions standards / regulations and Health Act 2007 and the role of the person in charge. Desirable Nursing - RNID Desirable Health/Social Care Level 8 Desirable (applicants with level 7 degree who have relevant experience will be considered) Have the ability and are committed to working with families, advocates and MDT members. Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
