About The Role
We are seeking a technical expert to support the Office of the Optum CISO as part of the Enterprise Information Security (EIS) program. This role requires expertise in cloud security vulnerability management and identity access management.
Our teams use the most advanced development tools AI data science and innovative approaches to make the healthcare system work better for everyone.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Work with businesses across the UK & Ireland to ensure alignment with EIS policies and standards establishing risk-prioritized cybersecurity processes and controls.
2. Implement security measures and configurations for cloud services including IaaS PaaS and SaaS environments.
3. Serve as a local point of contact for EIS policy and process issues escalations particularly cloud and network security.
4. Contribute to major programs or change initiatives aimed at increasing enterprise security capabilities.
5. Communicate to senior management on risk management concepts and specific project risks and risk mitigation options.
6. Maintain a deep understanding of the business patients and healthcare-delivery models including key systems key contacts priorities and concerns.
7. Maintain current knowledge on information security topics and their applicability to the enterprise and the healthcare industry.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline or equivalent experience.
2. Demonstrable experience with securing public cloud platforms AWS Azure GCP.
3. Experience with practical interpretation and application of policy and standards.
4. Subject matter expert knowledge of the technology aspects of security.
