Construction Project Coordinator
Project Overview:
This is a challenging opportunity to work as a Construction Project Coordinator with a reputable Building & Fit Out Contractor who delivers projects across the Leinster Region.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring construction drawings, specifications, and work requirements. They will also liaise with the design team to ensure works are completed according to the programme.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing commercial projects from start through to handover, with a particular emphasis on internal packages. A competitive salary and package will be offered to the right candidate, along with long-term work in the area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor construction drawings, specifications, and work requirements.
- Liaise with the design team to ensure works are completed according to the programme.
- Report to the Contracts Manager.
- Direct and manage personnel, site staff, and subcontractors, and manage and coordinate weekly progress meetings, workshops, and plan actions.
- Monitor construction to ensure quality of work and coordinate and liaise with Contracts Manager, Site Engineers, and Service Coordinators to ensure all personnel have accurate and timely information.
Requirements:
- Degree in Construction Management or similar (Third level qualification) is essential.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience working with a Main Contractor or Fit Out contractor at management level.
- Ability to effectively manage site programme and associated schedules to required deadlines.
- Experience managing multiple subcontractors at a time.
- Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint with Excellent IT skills and good digital and visual presentational skills.
