Manager – Manufacturing Engineering

The Role
Reporting to the Site Engineering Manager, you will lead and develop a team of engineers and technicians, overseeing all engineering activities within your scope. As a key member of the Operations Support team, you will contribute to the development of systems and processes that enhance training, planning, staff supervision, and business operations.

* Health & Safety: Champion a safety‑first culture with a goal of zero accidents.
* People Leadership: Coach, mentor, and develop your team; identify talent and succession planning opportunities.
* Quality: Drive a culture of “Right First Time” excellence, improve yields, reduce complaints, and support CAPA processes.
* Continuous Improvement: Lead Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support operational excellence.
* Customer Focus: Ensure projects and commitments meet or exceed internal and external customer expectations.
* New Product Introduction: Oversee new part introduction and collaborate with prototyping and product development teams.
* Strategy & Budget: Develop and implement engineering strategies, manage budgets, and lead capital expenditure projects.
* Innovation & Problem Solving: Lead process design, technology transfer, and implement lasting technical solutions.
* External Partnerships: Manage relationships with technology providers to support innovation.
What You’ll Bring
* Level 8 Engineering degree (or equivalent)
* 5–7 years’ experience in high‑volume, fast‑paced production environments
* Experience in Medical Device or regulated manufacturing environments highly desirable
* Proven ability to lead and develop technical teams
* Strong knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma principles with measurable results
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Highly motivated, proactive, and decisive
