Plant Spray Painter & General Operative Our client are a leading provider of access machinery solutions, specialising in the manufacture, rental, sales, maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of cherry pickers, scissor lifts, and other powered access equipment.
We are assisting them in seeking an experienced Plant Spray Painter & General Operativeto join their workshop team based in Ashbourne.
The successful candidate will be responsible for spray painting, preparation, and finishing of plant and access machinery, as well as supporting general workshop operations.
Please note that this location is not serviced by public transport.
Salary & Benefits: €38,000 Canteen Parking Responsibilities: Carry out spray painting, preparation, priming, and finishing of access machinery to a high standard.
Undertake surface preparation including sanding, masking, and priming.
Ensure all painting and finishing work complies with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Assist with general workshop duties including cleaning, repairs, and maintenance support.
Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
Work as part of a team to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results for customers.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
Key Requirements: Previous experience in spray painting plant, vehicles, or access machinery is essential.
Strong knowledge of spray painting techniques, materials, and equipment.
Ability to work independently with attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
Flexibility to perform a variety of general operative duties.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to best practices.
