Murphy is recruiting for a SHESQ Advisor - Cork to work with our Energy and Industry team on our Ballyroe Solar Farm.

We deliver Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) projects serving both regulated and private customers along with technical and engineering solutions within the conventional power and energy transition markets. What You Will Be Doing

Assisting in maintenance of the Safety Management System, Environmental Management System and Quality Management Systems and to ensure continued compliance with ISO 45001, ISO14001 and ISO 9001.
Carrying out inductions
Producing monthly statistics
Champion Culture Development Programme (behaviour-based safety programme)
Carry out and document site audits and inspections.
Keeping up to date with changes in safety, health and environmental legislation and construction industry guidance.
Ensuring personnel on site have the pre-requisite training records.
Investigating, logging, and monitoring of Incidents and Non-conformances
Completing all necessary report forms
Identifying significant safety impacts for work areas and helping set-up of appropriate controls
Ensure all safety and environmental records are kept and readily available.
Prepare and present toolbox talks and monthly safety meetings.
Review subcontractor documentation.

Who We Are Looking For

Higher Diploma in Health & Safety
Minimum of 3 years relevant experience on civils and renewables projects.
Solar Farm Construction experience advantageous.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with one or more teams.
Good IT skills with a high attention to detail
A flexible and proactive approach
Demonstrate leadership skills.
