Position: Property & Facilities Manager
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Property & Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day management, maintenance, and operational performance of a diverse property portfolio. This role will focus on property management, project delivery, and facilities operations, ensuring compliance, cost efficiency, and high service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of commercial and corporate properties, ensuring high service levels.
2. Manage service contracts (cleaning, security, M&E, waste management), ensuring vendors meet performance standards and cost efficiency.
3. Develop and maintain preventative maintenance schedules, ensuring all properties meet compliance, health & safety, and regulatory standards.
4. Handle lease administration, property inspections, and landlord/tenant relationships.
5. Lead fit-outs, refurbishments, and maintenance projects, ensuring quality, budget, and timeline adherence.
6. Coordinate with contractors, designers, and engineers to deliver cost-effective property improvements.
7. Assist in space planning and reconfigurations to optimize property use.
8. Assist in preparing and managing budgets for facilities and maintenance.
9. Monitor and control operational expenses, ensuring cost efficiency across services and projects.
10. Work with finance teams on reporting and forecasting property-related costs.
Compliance & Health & Safety
1. Ensure all properties meet health & safety, fire safety, and building compliance regulations.
2. Liaise with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders to uphold compliance standards.
3. Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, landlords, tenants, and service providers.
4. Supervise and support on-site property and facilities teams, ensuring high-performance standards.
5. Act as the key point of contact for property-related issues, resolving tenant and operational concerns efficiently.
Ideal Candidate:
* 5+ years’ experience in property management, facilities, or project delivery within commercial, corporate, or mixed-use properties.
* Strong background in contractor/vendor management, lease administration, and compliance oversight.
* Experience delivering fit-out, refurbishment, and maintenance projects.
* Solid knowledge of health & safety regulations, building compliance, and lease management.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
