Digger Driver / Groundworks Operative (Clare, Limerick & Galway)
O'Dwyer Contracting are recruiting an experienced Digger Driver to join our growing groundworks team. We have ongoing work across Clare, Limerick and Galway, mainly on residential and commercial sites, with some general ground operations required.
The Role
You'll be operating:
* Mini Diggers
* 6T
* 13T
* 14T excavators
Typical works include:
* Site clearance and enabling works
* Raft preparation
* Drainage installation
* Service trenching
* General civils / groundworks support as required
Requirements
* Proven experience operating excavators (mini up to 14T)
* Good understanding of levels, safe digging practices, and drainage
* Ability to work as part of a site team and assist with ground operations when needed
* Must have own transport and be willing to travel to sites across Clare/Limerick/Galway
* Strong focus on safety, tidy work, and productivity
* Safe Pass required (and any additional tickets/certs are a plus)
