Dornan is involved in projects across many sectors such as Pharmaceutical, Power, Waste to Energy, Commercial, Data Centre and Petrochemical. Due to the continuous growth with Dornan Engineering, we are currently looking to recruit experienced Electricians to join the company on exciting projects. At Dornan we are currently recruiting for an Electrical Supervisor to work on a pharma project in the Athlone area.
Role
Permanent position based in Athlone
Experience working on Industrial & Commercial or Pharmaceutical projects
2+ years post qualification experience
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Your day to day will include:
Support daily project execution across {MEP/construction/commissioning} workstreams
Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, subcontractors, and client teams
Monitor progress, quality, and compliance with project specifications
Assist with planning, documentation, and reporting
Resolve onsite issues promptly to maintain project momentum
Promote and uphold Dornan's safety-first culture
Support continuous improvement across project delivery
Qualifications
Electrical Craft Certificate
What we are looking for:
Proven experience in {MEP installation / large-scale pharma / commissioning / etc.}
Strong understanding of construction and technical processes
Excellent communication and coordination skills; Ability to work in a fast-paced, milestone-driven environment
Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
