On behalf of our client, we are currently recruiting for a Part-time Clinical Support Orthopaedic – Tralee, Kerry. This role will be 2 days per week.
Responsibilities
· Provide Clinical Support in Orthopedic theatre setting for B Braun Hip and Knee procedures to Surgeon/Nurse requirements.
· At all times to represent the Company and it's products in a professional manner.
· Provide in theatre support to consultants and nursing staff regarding the use of products
· Provide accurate information regarding all products and their indications for use to orthopedic consultants and nursing staff
· Provide first class service and seamless supply to customer including training, stock checks, timely deliveries and supporting the theatre team to ensure the operation proceeds successfully
· To establish and maintain relationships with key accounts/ customers.
· To keep abreast of developments and trends within the territory and to monitor & feedback competitor activity to Aesculap Business Lead
· This is a clinical/educational role. Organize and facilitate educational/clinical advice to customers in an acute setting.
· Liaise on a clinical basis with prospective and existing customers to monitor clinical satisfaction and needs.
· Develop good clinical and business relationships with Regional Key Opinion Leaders.
· Promote and grow the key product range with relevant customers with a clinical need for the product, with a specific focus on Orthopedic Surgeons and hospitals.
· To develop the Orthopedic/Power Tools portfolio's.
· To deliver education and training on a group and individual basis – within the Hospital setting – Theatre & HSSD.
· Attend exhibitions and conference's both nationally and internationally as required.
· Ensure the immediate communication, documentation and timely collection of any product complaint received in full compliance and adherence with systems
· Maintain appropriate and up-to-date product knowledge on the Company's range of products/ services to ensure accuracy of communications and strong reputation and credibility with our customers.
Requirements
· Qualifications in Nursing, Physiotherapy or related area preferred
· Experience within theatre/surgical setting highly desirable
· Experience in Orthopaedics or related area an advantage
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Flexible and positive approach
