Company DescriptionWe're hiring an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Officer at Copper Coast RenewablesWe're looking for someone who cares about keeping people safe and keeping projects running the right way.This role sits at the heart of our operations, supporting our teams across all sites and making sure we meet the standards expected of a modern renewable energy company.You'll work closely with our Operations Manager and project teams to keep our policies up to date, run site inspections, lead training, and make sure we stay compliant with all relevant EHS regulations.Role DescriptionKeeping our EHS policies current and practical for day-to-day operationsCarrying out site inspections and internal audits, and guiding teams on corrective actionsLeading risk assessments and reviewing method statements from contractorsDelivering training, toolbox talks, and site inductionsManaging incident investigations and reporting requirementsStaying current with regulatory changes and coordinating with relevant authoritiesMonitoring environmental impacts and supporting sustainability initiativesKeeping accurate EHS records and preparing reports for managementQualificationsA degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related fieldNEBOSH, IOSH, or similar certification (or working toward one)3–5 years' experience in EHS within the construction sectorStrong understanding of safety and environmental regulationsConfidence leading audits, assessments, and incident investigationsGood communication skills and the ability to work with teams at every levelSolid organisational skills and a proactive, problem-solving approach
