My client is a fast-growing FinTech company offering a variety of products like FX risk management, trade finance, currency accounts, international payments, and API integration.As the company continues to expand, it is seeking aCountry Managerto drive the growth of its operations in Ireland.The Country Manager will oversee all operations in Ireland, ensuring the success of services related to payments and collections, business lending, and FX risk management.Responsibilities include hiring and managing a sales team, setting sales goals, implementing sales programs, and boosting sales performance through training and development.The Role:Lead and manage the sales team, including recruiting, training, and performance managementSet sales targets and forecast expected sales volumesImplement regional sales programs and training plansEnsure adherence to company-wide sales processesCollaborate with Marketing, Corporate Development, and Product teams to communicate product messages and provide feedbackStay updated on industry trends by attending workshops, reading publications, and networkingContribute to team success by achieving specific resultsWork with Talent Acquisition to recruit as needed to meet demandIdeal Candidate:Proven sales leadership experience in financial institutions, ideally in FX or PaymentsStrong commercial experience and network in the Irish marketPassion and hunger for sales, and to build and drive a sales organisationExperience in a commercial bank or similar environment, selling to mid-size corporatesKnowledge of the local market and experience with large-scale recruitmentFluent in English (spoken and written)Passionate, energetic, and motivational leaderProven track record of exceeding sales targets and market share goalsExcellent communication skills, able to inspire and align teams with a common visionAbility to set clear objectives and execute with autonomySkilled in mentoring, managing, and developing peopleEffective leader and collaborator within a matrix organizationStrong commercial support in the field, developing sales strategies based on customer feedbackSkilled negotiator, able to achieve goals while protecting interests
