As an Installation Engineer, you'll be the face of our company, ensuring every project is completed to the highest standard. This role is perfect for someone who is adaptable and enjoys a physically active job. The position requires a willingness to travel nationwide, a valid driver's license, and flexibility for frequent overnight stays.Job Responsibilities: As an Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the professional and safe installation of Footfall's products. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:Primary ResponsibilityInstalling a range of products to the highest standards, including matting systems, carpet tiles, trims, roof walk matting, playground matting, and wall protection systems.Safety and ComplianceAdhering to safety protocols by operating within Health and Safety Regulations and PPE Guidelines.Consistently following the company's Safety Statement, Method Statements, and Risk Assessments.Operational and LogisticsManaging and maintaining tools by conducting routine inspections, ensuring proper maintenance of power and hand tools, and reporting any tools needing repair or replacement.Loading vehicles with the correct products and materials for each job, using provided loading lists.Maintaining company vehicles by ensuring they are clean, well-maintained, and road-worthy at all times, including performing regular checks on oil, tires, and lights.Maintaining a clean workspace both in the warehouse and on-site, ensuring all areas are clear for safety and that stock is organised and in its correct location.Documentation, Communication and ReportingCoordinating with team members by liaising with sales representatives and administrative staff to confirm job details, materials, and schedules.Documenting installations by taking high-quality "before and after" photos and correctly uploading and filing them on the company network.Reporting job outcomes by providing a timely update to your manager via text or email after each installation.Requirements:Full and clean driving licenseMust have SafePass & Manual Handling (can be provided)Experience of subfloor preparation is essentialExperience in coving/capping & welding is essentialGood communication skills & appearance essentialMust be able to work on your own initiativeBenefits:All training provided including Safe Pass and Manual HandlingCompany vehicle (van), Smart PhoneTools & PPE providedCompany eventsSick payJob Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:Company eventsSick payLicence/Certification:Clean Driver's License (required)Work Location: On the road
