Design Build Search are working with a rapidly expanding construction specialist. Due to ongoing work and a strong pipeline of work they have an opening for a Quantity Surveyor in Maynooth. The successful applicants will be required to travel to projects throughout Europe. Our client is involved in prestigious projects in the DC, pharma and industrial projects. In addition to their Irish operations they have a global presence.Requirements:Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related field5+ years post college experienceprevious experience with a main or sub-contractorResponsibilities include:Liaise with and support the Senior QSAttend meetings with subcontractors/ clients/ design team membersPreparation and monitoring of cashflow ? Assist in the preparation of final accounts at project completion stageCost monitoring and reporting using construction computer softwareAssess tender enquiries and review tender project analysisPurchasing and monitoring of subcontractor and specialist supplier packagesManagement of subcontractor re-measurement, interim and final account paymentsProcessing monthly/ fortnightly subcontractor and supplier payment certificates ? Compiling variations and the variation logPre-contract cost control and document preparationSkills:Quantity surveying Cost Management Estimating Tender data centre
