Together, we work as 'One Murphy' by directly delivering the people, plant and expertise needed to make projects a success.The Role:The SHESQ Advisor will play a crucial role in ensuring that our construction projects comply with Safety and Health legislation and company standards.The Advisor will report directly to the Senior SHESQ Advisor.Main Duties:Assisting in maintenance of the Safety Management System, Environmental Management System and Quality Management Systems and to ensure continued compliance with ISO 45001, ISO14001 and ISO 9001Carrying out inductionsProducing monthly statisticsChampion Culture Development Programme (behaviour-based safety programme)Carry out and document site audits and inspectionsKeeping up to date with changes in safety, health and environmental legislation and construction industry guidanceEnsuring personnel on site have the pre-requisite training recordsInvestigating, logging, and monitoring of Incidents and Non-conformancesCompleting all necessary report formsIdentifying significant safety impacts for work areas and helping set-up of appropriate controlsEnsure all safety and environmental records are kept and readily availablePrepare and present toolbox talks as and when requiredPrepare and present at monthly safety meetingsReview subcontractor documentationQualifications and Skills:Higher Diploma in Health & SafetyMinimum of 3 years relevant experience on mechanical and civil projects.Oil Refinery experience advantageous.Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with one or more teams.Good written and spoken communication abilities.Good IT skills with a high attention to detailA flexible and proactive approachDemonstrate leadership skills.What Murphy Offer In Return:Competitive salary & Benefits27 days holiday, plus bank holidays.
