Role Overview:
The Occupational Therapist will be an integral part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality, person-centred care and support to children and adults with intellectual, physical and sensory disabilities.
* Conduct comprehensive needs assessments
* Develop tailored intervention plans
* Support service users to maximise independence, participation and quality of life across various settings
Clients are aged 18+, have completed secondary education and possess a primary diagnosis of intellectual disability, alongside other diagnoses such as Autism, Physical and Sensory Disabilities and associated clinical needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the assessment, planning, implementation and review of treatment/intervention programmes for clients in line with established service standards
* Maintain accurate records of assessments, intervention plans, progress notes, reports and referrals in accordance with professional standards
* Ensure adherence to quality standards of practice and participate in quality assurance and clinical audit initiatives
This role forms part of our multidisciplinary team, working collaboratively to deliver a coordinated approach to client support and intervention.
