Job Details
The position is part‑time, 4 hours every week with the following shifts:
* Saturday, Sunday and Bank holidays 9:00 am – 10:00 am
* Saturday, Sunday and Bank holidays 8:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Pay and Benefits
* Basic hourly rate €15.39 – €17.12 (depending on experience)
* Before 8 am and after 8 pm: €19.23 per hour
* Sunday: €23.00 per hour
* Public holidays: €30.80 per hour

Overall Purpose of Job
* Enable members to achieve maximum independence in daily living by providing assistance in personal care, domestic assistance, social and educational assistance, travel and companionship.
* Role takes place in the homes and communities of members.
Liaison
* Liaise and coordinate with other identified home carers as required, and maintain close communication with the ALS Coordinator and scheduling staff.
Training and Qualifications (Required)
* QQI Level 5 or above in Childcare (preference) or QQI Level 5 major award in Healthcare discipline including Human Growth and Development module.
* Experience of working with people in a caring role (essential).
* Experience of working with people with Acquired Brain Injury (desirable).
* Reliable, trustworthy and always maintain confidentiality.
* Excellent communication skills, good written and spoken English.
* Access to own car (preferred).
