Job Title
We are seeking an experienced Quality and Compliance Officer to join our team. This is a challenging role that requires strong knowledge of quality management systems, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards.
About the Job
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting internal audits, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The role involves working closely with management, staff, and external regulatory bodies to monitor, assess, and improve the quality of care provided.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct robust internal audits to a high standard in line with regulatory requirements.
* Provide impartial reporting of findings from audits in clearly laid out reports.
* Responsible for the vetting & approval of action plans, and monitoring of plans to completion.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements through SMART action plans, targets and deadlines.
* Track and trend analysis of audit findings to enable organisational learning.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* A minimum of 2 years post graduate experience working in a social care setting.
* Knowledge of New Directions Regulations and National Standards for persons with disabilities.
* Excellent knowledge and understanding of HIQA.
* A full driving licence and willingness to travel to locations within our service.
