Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Catering Manager to lead and manage our day-to-day catering operations.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Hotel and Catering Management or Institutional Management, and at least one year's experience in the direction and control of catering arrangements for an institution or other establishment catering for a minimum of 200 persons per day.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and training staff, planning and executing large-scale events, collaborating with clients, maintaining inventory levels, handling budgeting and financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and train staff to deliver exceptional service and meet quality standards.
* Plan and execute large-scale events, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to dietary requirements, and guest satisfaction.
* Collaborate with clients to understand their catering needs and tailor menus to fit their expectations.
* Maintain inventory levels and coordinate food orders to ensure seamless operations.
* Handle budgeting, invoicing, and financial reporting for catering services.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
