Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Administrator (Temporary Contract)

About the Role
Griffin Foods is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Administrator to join their finance team on a short-term contract.
This role is ideal for someone who can hit the ground running, manage high-volume transactions, and has strong proficiency in Intact, which is essential for this assignment.
The successful candidate will support the finance function with AP/AR processes, bank reconciliations, payment runs, and general accounts administration during a busy operational period.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable
Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
Match, batch, and code invoices using Intact.
Perform supplier statement reconciliations.
Prepare and execute weekly payment runs.
Resolve invoice discrepancies and follow up with suppliers as needed.
Accounts Receivable
Raise customer invoices and ensure timely posting.
Allocate incoming payments and reconcile customer accounts.
Follow up on outstanding payments and support credit control tasks where required.
Bank & General Accounting
Carry out daily/weekly bank reconciliations.
Support month-end processes if required.
Assist with general ledger entries and financial administration tasks.
Maintain accurate and organised financial records.
Skills & Experience Required
Minimum 6 months local experience in Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable.
Strong working knowledge of Intact (Intact iQ or similar versions essential).
Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel (filters, lookups, pivots desirable).
Experience working in a fast-paced environment such as FMCG, food, distribution, or manufacturing is a plus.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during a short-term contract.
Excellent communication skills for dealing with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
