Overview:
Our client, a growing provider of specialist services to small and micro-SME businesses, is seeking a driven and self-starting Business Development Manager. This is a pure new business role focused on identifying, engaging, and converting new clients across Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
* Proactively identify and target new business opportunities within the SME sector
* Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified leads
* Conduct outbound outreach, client meetings, and tailored sales presentations
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and client satisfaction
* Report on sales activity, pipeline progress, and market feedback
Candidate Profile:
* 3+ years’ experience in a B2B sales or business development role
* Proven track record in winning new business and exceeding targets
* Strong understanding of the SME landscape in Ireland
* Confident communicator with excellent presentation and negotiation skills
* Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently
