Used Equipment ManagerOur client a leading heavy plant machinery company are looking for a used Equipment Manager to Promote sale of all used equipment, plant machinery and ageing stock.Main Tasks / Responsibilities• Promote sale of all used equipment and ageing stock.• Inspect, value and record all equipment on offer• Maintain database of all stock of used equipment• Own the used equipment process:– value– repair estimate– agree repairs– monitor / record costs including warranty– Manage / update promotional avenues – website etc.– Manage paper trail – reports; reg docs; hpi etc.– Agree terms of final sale & complete Acknowledgement of Order Forms• Monitor prices and values on the used equipment market• Attend auctions and other events where used equipment is promoted• Purchase of Used Equipment where required• Estimating residual values of new machines being sold by the company• Interface with suppliers on used equipment issues and initiatives• Be a source of information on used equipment for internal stakeholders – salespeople, management, etc• Manage the sale and promotion of used equipment on relevant online sites• Managing the company's sales forecasting processRequired knowledge & experience.• Mechanical machinery sales experience, 3+ Years• Knowledge of valuing machines essential• Ability to work in a team• Leaving Certificate minimum.• Self-Motivated and experience of working on own initiative• Highly Organised• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Competent administration skills,• Set and meet targets in relation to KSFs and KPIs• Mechanical certificate or diploma or third level qualification advantageous.Essential Criteria• Must be authorised to work in Ireland• Must have fluent EnglishIf you are living in Ireland and hold a VALID WORK PERMIT, we would love to hear from you, if however, you do not hold a valid work permit unfortunately we will not be in a position to assist you with your job search.Celtic Careers is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.By submitting your CV or personal details, you are providing Celtic Careers consent to process your personal data.
