* Acquire demand forecasts for all FG inventory consuming events (sale, NPI, R&D, etc.) and translate those
forecasts into a network supply plan aligned with the business strategy.
* Plan finished goods requirements using SAP and APO. This includes projecting inventory levels, calculating
appropriate safety stock levels, and reporting deviations from projected inventory targets
* Interface with manufacturing and/or external vendors to develop and coordinate supply, place purchase
orders and track incoming supply. Interface with the warehouse and transportation teams as needed to
support day to day operations.
* Develop mid/long term Rough Cut Capacity Plans (RCCP) considering current and future manufacturing
constraints to maximize manufacturing efficiency while minimizing working capital costs.
* Maintain systems, including SAP APO SNP, to drive appropriate net requirements for production and
purchasing of finished goods, including network planning parameters such as: lead times, safety stock,
replenishment quantities, order cycle times, product life cycle management, etc.
•Develop monthly S&OP
input (medium or long term network supply plan and working capital projection), working with cross functional
S&OP team to evaluate multiple options, communicating impacts of tradeoffs to cost and service where
demand and supply imbalances exist
* Manage key risks and opportunities associated with demand variation as well as capacity and material
constraints. The role will also provide input into longer term capacity investment and sourcing decisions.
* Achievement of metric targets for supply chain: inventory, scrap, OTIF / LIFR, etc.
* Support ongoing continuous improvement activities for the Network Supply Planning and S&OP processes by
analyzing network supply performance and identifying opportunities to optimize inventory, reduce
obsolescence across the network, optimize customer service and maximize production efficiency
* Back up for partnered Network Planner
* Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
