My client is a well-established Irish retailer with three stores and an online business.
They are recruiting a Marketing Manager to join their Cork Head Office – no hybrid work arrangement.
Salary €55K-€65K, may be negotiable but must reflect experience.
This is a varied role where you will oversee all areas of marketing: digital paid (via agency), organic, email marketing, social media, events, print & radio advertising, content writing, creating in-store graphics, brochures, POS, and video reels.
You will manage and mentor a Marketing Executive and also work collaboratively with the Ecommerce Manager and store managers.
You will be comfortable working with suppliers/brand partners, graphic designers, and digital/media agencies.
Responsibilities for the role of Marketing Manager:
Content Creation & Social Media Management
* The candidate must be very creative, have an eye for design, and possess the skills to create compelling stories in multiple formats including strong photography and videography skills.
* Capture new video and image assets for creative execution.
* Develop and execute the content strategy to align with marketing goals and target audience needs.
* Develop and implement campaigns to boost brand engagement and increase revenue.
* Create and distribute content such as blogs, videos, and press releases on social media and traditional news outlets.
* Create weekly and monthly editorial calendars to promote company brands on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
* Track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability.
* Work with influencers in our market to generate content and traction for our brands.
* Deliver content that supports lead generation and brand awareness efforts and engages prospects at different stages of the sales pipeline.
* Optimize content for SEO to increase organic visibility and drive traffic to digital channels.
* Execute product and lifestyle photo & video needs from start to finish.
Campaign Management
* Manage advertising activities, including agency briefing, creative development, and execution, while reviewing effectiveness of each activity or campaign and building insights for future planning.
* Liaise with publishers, suppliers, or relevant third-party agencies to manage all aspects of advertising/public relations, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy.
* Handle advertising for outdoor, press, audio, and leaflets across retail.
* Implement extensive promotions calendars and coordinate the production of all promotional materials (e.g., offers flyers, POS materials).
* Develop and implement local marketing plans to support stores.
Digital Marketing
* Manage blog posts on relevant subjects to drive awareness of the brand and product range.
* Implement digital media campaigns including PPC, display, audio, and online video.
* Use customer and market insights to guide marketing and sales initiatives.
Email & Text Marketing
* Manage digital communications calendar and oversee the design, segmentation, delivery, and reporting of campaigns.
* Create and execute consumer campaigns.
* Write and execute emails and texts in collaboration with a creative agency.
