Overview We're working with a leading tech company who are looking to bring on a UK or European qualified lawyer to support across various areas, from commercial negotiations to process and project management on a range of matters. This is a great opportunity to make a big impact within legal operations. It's a varied and relationship-driven position, where you'd primarily support on: Responsibilities The roll-out of the Global Master Retention Agreement (GMRA) to EMEA firms and to APAC firms, where necessary Project management of the GMRA process including managing existing trackers Updating playbooks and researching local laws Process contracts using internal systems Support with the EMEA Panel, specifically assisting the team with relationship management Revamp of internal hub sites Creating playbooks / visualisations / process flows for internal processes and workflows Ad hoc support to the regional Legal Ops team Qualifications Be UK or European qualified Have commercial contracts experience (EMEA and APAC) Have operational experience in-house or at a law firm – ideally in a fast-paced tech environment Be experienced on key platforms: Google suite, Excel, SharePoint Have experience with metric driven processes and technology improvements Be able to communicate thoughtfully and adapt to different dynamics Be confident working in a fast-paced, often evolving landscape Be flexible to accommodate some calls with the US team Starting as soon as possible, the role is initially due to run until the end of the year.
