Event Planning Executive Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic Event Planning Executive to produce events from conception through to completion.
The ideal candidate will provide outstanding customer service, coordinate memorable events, and meet quality expectations. To achieve this, the successful candidate must be able to operate and maintain a computerised system for responding and coordinating sales enquiries, bookings and availability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Meet prospective clients for show-arounds for weddings, private and corporate functions.
* Ensure prompt and professional response and follow-up to sales enquiries.
* Prepare weekly and monthly reports outlining business on the books.
* Liaise with clients in relation to event details.
* Monitor, coordinate and communicate event bookings, ensuring accuracy of billing and information.
* Generate quotations for bookings and timely follow-ups.
* To maximise resort revenue and guest satisfaction by ensuring accurate processing of conference bookings and private functions.
* Up-sell products and services throughout the event process.
* Management of customer feedback including responding to problems and complaints.
Requirements:
* A minimum of two years experience in wedding or event planning required.
* An efficient multi-tasker, highly organised, and detail-oriented individual is required.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills are necessary.
* Proficiency in Opera V5/Cloud, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and social media channels is essential.
