We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team.
This role will support a range of accounting and administrative activities to ensure the smooth running of financial operations.
Responsibilities
Engage across departments to resolve invoice queries
Reconcile supplier statements and address any discrepancies
Prepare and process supplier payments
Record banking transactions accurately in the accounting system
Work closely with other departments to support financial processes
Assist with finance projects and administrative duties as required
Process supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper approval
Experience
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent numerical and analytical ability
Proficient in accounting software such as Sage
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
Proactive and team-focused approach
Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
1–3 years' experience in an accounting or finance role
Knowledge of Irish tax regulations (VAT and RCT) is an advantage
Additional Information
Hours 8.00am to 5.30pm Mon to Thurs, 4.00pm early finish Fridays
