Laharts Kilkenny is looking to recruit a qualified motor technician to join our service team.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in all aspects of Volkswagen servicing and diagnostics, capable of producing quality work in a busy environment.
* Service and repair vehicles in accordance with manufacturers guidelines and dealership standards.
* Performing work as outlined on the job card with efficiency and accuracy.
* Use diagnostic equipment and a systematic approach to diagnose and rectify vehicle faults.
* Examine the vehicle and perform vehicle health checks to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
* Maintain a clean and neat workspace and adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Requirements
* Able to work on own initiative and be a good team player.
* Good communication skills and the ability to identify and explain additional work required.
* Capable of producing quality work in a fast-paced environment.
* Diligent, with a flexible approach to work.
