Community Outreach Leadership Position
This leadership position plays a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day operations of community outreach services, including court accompaniment and children’s support services.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership skills, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams and maintaining consistently high standards of care.
Key responsibilities include providing day-to-day leadership and direction to outreach teams, motivating and supporting staff and volunteers, and ensuring all staff maintain professional standards in case management, record keeping, and reporting.
Additional responsibilities include overseeing the delivery of outreach services, working directly with women and children in the community, and promoting a caring, therapeutic, and empowering approach to all client interactions.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for participating as a proactive and collaborative member of the management team, contributing to strategic planning, policy development, and organizational decision-making.
Required qualifications include a third-level qualification in social science, social care, humanities, or a related discipline, with a minimum of three years' experience in a community or social care setting in a supervisory or team leadership role.
Desirable skills and qualifications include knowledge of legal advocacy and the Irish Family Court system, as well as strong IT skills and access to own transport and willingness to travel across the region.
Benefits include a salary of €52,824 per annum, an on-call allowance of €6720 (approx.) per annum, employer contribution of 7% pension scheme, annual leave of 25 days per annum, plus additional benefits such as sick pay scheme, maternity pay scheme, employee assistance programme, and access to training and development opportunities.
Garda vetting is required for this role, which is primarily based in Naas, with some travel to refuge and outreach locations in the community expected. The full-time position involves 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, with occasional evening/weekend work required.
Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract renewable subject to successful completion of probation.

Direct Reports: Currently 5 staff consisting of 2.5 Outreach Caseworkers, 1 Court Liaison Officer, 1 Children's Project Worker.
