Job Purpose: Due to continued expansion of our operations, we are seeking applications from a suitably qualified and experienced Production Supervisor (Permanent).
To be a successful Production Supervisor, you will develop and maintain a feasible plan for hiring, training, and managing personnel and ensuring quality issues, processes and material flows are operated efficiently.

Key Responsibilities: Planning - including developing /maintaining a viable plan incorporating hiring, training, capacity-modelling, efficiency/yield assumptions, ramp rate, learning curve etc.
Liaising with warehousing, quality assurance, bulk-packaging and sterilisation areas to ensure prompt product shipment.
Maintaining GMP / Housekeeping at a high level within the department through the involvement of all team members.
Cross-functional management of QA, materials, IS and HR support for the team.
Interacting with the other manufacturing teams and Logistics to prioritise backorders.
Managing process and material flows, space management, and working with the Engineering group to maximise space utilisation designated for specific operations areas.
Administration of Time and Attendance system, Holiday planning, Build Plan review, Back Order review, Travel planning etc.
Working with EHS to identify significant environmental impacts of BSIL operations and establish goals and targets around substantial environmental impacts.
Displaying a good knowledge of GMP / FDA regulatory requirements, housekeeping, health and safety.
Embodying excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to liaise with various support groups.
