Their multidisciplinary team is committed to advancing Irelands clean energy future through innovative, responsible and community-focused development.About the RoleLocation: Preference for candidates based full- or part-time in the Limerick office, with a hybrid working model available.The Project Development Team is responsible for progressing and maximising the value of an established onshore renewable pipeline. Due to ongoing growth, the team is expanding and seeking talented, passionate individuals to support this work. The role is an excellent opportunity for someone motivated in starting or furthering a career in the renewable energy sector.As an assistant project manager your role will be flexible and varied and will involve:Assisting the Project Management Team in the day-to-day aspects of project management for a significant pipeline of wind and solar developmentsSupport and assistance in the successful delivery and coordination of environmental resourcesCritically review project documentation, track project programme & risk, to ensure project viabilityIdentifying and escalating issues as they arise, while being proactive and solution oriented with good attention to detailConsulting with 3rd party consultants, Local Authorities, Statutory bodies, An Bord Pleanála and joint venture partnersOnsite supervision of 3rd party consultants, where requiredWhat do I need?Ideal candidates will have or possess the following:A degree and / or higher qualification in Environmental Science, Natural Science, Engineering or a related disciplineLarge project development experience, desirably in the renewable energy sectorKnowledge of / experience in environmental assessments for wind and solar projects would be highly advantageousKnowledge of planning and consenting process would be beneficialTeam player with excellent interpersonal skillsDemonstrate initiative and self-motivation and must take on ownership of tasks and challenges2 to 4 years experience working in renewable energy, onshore or similar industriesAbility to manage own workload and meet demanding timescales on a number of projectsFull, clean driving licenceCommitment to continued professional developmentSkills:environmental science, renewables, project manager
