Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assigned Certifier to join our client, a construction engineering consultancy based in Dublin. This is an ideal role for a Chartered Engineer looking to transition into a hybrid position that offers a mix of technical expertise and business acumen.


Key Responsibilities:

* Determine and define project scope of work and deliverables.
* Prepare tenders, oversee tendering procedures, develop proposals, and manage contractor on-site activities.
* Apply creative and logical thinking to resolve design issues.


Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
* Thorough understanding of building regulations, on-site inspections, construction detailing, building control processes, and project management principles.
* 7-10 years of experience in engineering within the construction sector, preferably in consultancy.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings.
* Excellent skills in Microsoft Office and general computer software.
* In-depth knowledge of construction and engineering principles.
* Chartered status is desirable.
* Strong leadership, management, and communication skills.
